Knit a cute pair of autumn toys, a fox and wolf, wrapped up in coats and scarves with stripy socks.
Made from any DK yarn you have in your stash, you’ll need to be able to knit, purl, cast on and off, and increase and decrease to make these toys. All pieces are worked flat on straight knitting needles so NO knitting in the round is needed.
You’ll need DK yarns in various colours, 3mm straight knitting needles, a darning needle, stitch holder, and some toy stuffing.
The pattern includes illustrated instructions for knitting the toys along with instructions to knit and make up all their clothes.
Fox and Wolf measure about 33cm (13 inches) tall when completed and can be posed sitting or standing up.
Suggested Yarns::
We used Stylecraft Special DK in Tomato (1723) for the fox and in Silver (1203) for the wolf, along with a small amount of Wendy Peter Pan DK Snowdrop (PD01) for their white patches. For the clothes we used a selection of Wendy Peter Pan DK colours.
