DK weight leg-warmers for babies; these legwarmers are designed to keep little legs warm during nappy-free time, or while being worn in a sling or carrier. An i-cord drawstring tied at the ankle keeps the legwarmers in place in spite of kicks or wriggles. Knit in next-to-skin soft yarn for semi-naked baby time, or in a rougher wool as an outer layer while baby-wearing.
Adjust size by changing the length of the legwarmer.

Ribbed Version: 120 metres of DK weight yarn.
Sample uses Malabrigo Rios in the colour Sunset.
Striped Version:
DK weight yarn in the following quantities: MC: 88 metres, CC 40 metres.
Sample uses Debbie Bliss Rialto DK in the colours 046 Forest and 042 Pink.
Gauge 22 sts / 30 rows per 10 cm / 4 inches in stocking stitch, worked in the round.
Differences in gauge will affect yarn usage and finished size.
Needles 4mm or size needed to achieve gauge, DPNs or long circular needle for magic loop.
