Frostfall is a richly textured asymmetrical triangular shawl with a lace border. Do you love giant shawls but hate long purl rows? Although the lace panel is purled on wrong side rows, the slipped stitch pattern (where most of the increases occur) doesn’t have a single purl stitch!
Testers rated the difficulty as Advanced Beginner or Intermediate.
600 (800, 1000, 1200) yards [548 (732, 915, 1098) meters] of fingering weight yarn.
Sample was made using 1000 yd (915 m) of Serendipitous Wool Anu (100% Superwash Merino) in colorway Frostfall.
Serendipitous Wool Anu is a single ply, superwash, fingering weight wool yarn that grows and blooms beautifully once blocked. It has good drape and stitch definition.
