Gamine vest

A beautiful cable and lace vest with a close shawl collar for keeping out the cold. A great layering piece for any wardrobe, Gamine does casual or dressy. An engaging knit, without too much fuss, this vest will be ready to wear in no time. This pattern is worked top down beginning with a provisional cast on. The back is worked first and then both front pieces, they are then joined and the body is worked in one piece. The buttonband/collar is worked in one piece. Short rows are used to shape the collar.
