Gartinette Baby Bonnet | Preemie - 24 months

This bonnet is a comfortable piece with an original and timeless design.

It is knitted flat in a combination of garter and stockinette stitch.

The back shaping has an interesting construction and is created by working simple short rows.

This bonnet has two versions: one with wavy garter stitch sections and

another with straight garter stitch sections.

- Construction: Knitted flat.

- Experience level: Beginner.

- Yarn: DK/sport weight yarn.

- Tension: 25 stitches x 34 rows = 10cm / 4” worked in stockinette stitch with 3,5mm (US 4) needles

- Yardage: approx. 45-150 meters depending on size you are knitting.

- Needles: 3,5mm (US 4) circular or straight needles, 3mm (US 2,5) double pointed needles for the I-cord.

- Knitting techniques: Knit, Purl, simple increases and decreases, I-cord.
