A loose fitting hat with a folded brim. The dots/stars are created using slip stitches in a linen stitch pattern and 2 colors of sock weight yarn. Topped with a pompom, it's a cute hat that makes a warm gift for you or someone you love.
Materials: 2 colors of sock yarn 200-230 yards each. Size 9 circular needles 16”. Size 9 double point needles. Tapestry needle. Stitch marker to mark start of round.
Gauge: 7 stitches per inch on 2x1 rib, 4 columns and 3 dots over 2-color linen stitch.
Finished measurements: Approximately 11 inches from unfolded brim to top (not including pompom), 16, 18, 20 inch circumference.
