Geometrical motif Cortona

This geometrical motif is part of a series of 20 geometrical motifs. With these motifs you can chrochet the project of your choice: a scarf, a poncho, a blanket, a carpet, … In this example I crocheted a scarf with this motif ‘Cortona’.

This scarf was crocheted with Stardust by Scheepjeswol (see photo for details). I used a hook size 4.50 mm (G/6) for the foundation chain and 3.50 mm (E/4) for the scarf. The scarf measures 64 cm (25.19 in) x 140 cm (55.11 in) and weighs 290 gram. The nice thing about these geometrical motifs is that you can use them for any project of your choice: a scarf, a poncho, a blanket, a carpet, … Play with color and yarn and you will create a unique object every time. They are also very easy to make: you only need to know how to chain and double crochet (US). The step-by-step makes it even for beginners to crochet this geomerical motif. The pattern is written in US terms, but I have added a conversion chart.
