My favorite summer top! I had so much fun creating this "melted" version, but I've got plans for a bunch of different versions- stripes, using some bright kettle dyed yarns, oh the possibilities are endless with this one. The good news is that it knits up super fast (I designed and knit this one in a weekend!), so you'll be able to make all the tops of your dreams with this one pattern. It's a completely seamless knit (you start by casting on the neckband and are knitting in the round from the first stitch!), the fun lace detail over the back is worked within a set panel, so you don't even have to worry about working in increase stitches that might mess up the lace pattern and you could absolutely leave it out if you just wanted some straight knitting so you can enjoy catching up on your favorite show......not that I would know anything about doing that ;)
