Gradient Dip is an oversized drop shoulder sweater with long, gradient sleeves. A decorative row of purl stitches runs from shoulder to shoulder and the neckline is finished off with a ribbing. The sweater is worked seamlessly from top down, the upper body back and forth, the rest of the body and sleeves in the round. The pattern includes a photo tutorial for German short rows which are used for shoulder shaping.
Designed to be worn with approximately 16” / 40 cm of positive ease. Shown in size S.
The sleeves are designed to fit snug. If you’d like a looser fit, make the upper body longer and pick up more stitches for each sleeve. Please note that if doing so, you will need more yarn than given.
