I love using the Granny Stitch. I saw so many afghans using this stitch growing up. The Great Granny Cowl Crochet Pattern uses the Granny Stitch to create the shawl part of the cowl.
There are 4 sizes for you to choose from: 4-10 years, Tween, Small & Large Adult.
The Granny Cowl is meant to be oversized. You can wear it over or under your jacket; dress it up or down; wear it wherever you go. The cowl will make a great accent statement to any wardrobe.
I used Premier Sweet Roll in Gelato Pop. The yarn is a #4 Worsted/Aran Weight Yarn. The yarn adds beautiful colors that brings out the Granny Stitch beautifully.
This would also be a great scrap busting project when you work on the parts of the Shawl and the Cowl.
