Greengage is a long scarf with small slip stitch cables and a garter stitch edge which curves in and out following the lines of the cables. The pattern has both charted and line by line instructions so you can choose whichever you prefer.
This pattern is suitable for the adventurous intermediate to advanced knitter.
The pattern contains slipped stitches, two stitch cables and stitches which change from knit to purl or purl to knit when being cabled. Wrong side rows consist of knit, purl and slipped stitches. The stitch count changes throughout the piece as the edge follows the line of slipped stitches.
