Halloween Pumpkin placemat

This is a fun pattern to make without too many color changes. This means not a lot of ends to sew in and it is a good pattern for crocheters who are new to this technique.

Our pumpkin placemat will look great on any table this Halloween season and make mealtimes fun for the kids!

You can add height to this easily by adding the same number of rows to the top and bottom of this pattern if you prefer your mats more squared.

I used paintbox aran cotton for my version and used 2 skeins of grey, 1.5 of orange and half a skein of black. A small amount of brown finishes the top of the pumpkin.
