This pattern is for a girls sweater with a picture on a front pocket of a family group, mum, dad, and baby. The sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up. The pocket front and colourwork is worked flat. The sleeves are picked up and work in the round from the top.
The rib used is a cable rib.
There is a chart only for the colourwork.
Size 6 months (12 months, 2 years, 4 years), to fit chest 43 (48, 53.5, 58.5)cm (17 (19, 21, 23)in). Sweater is meant to be worn with 5cm (2in) of positive ease. The sweater pictured is the 6 months size.
Materials DK weight yarn in 2 colours, wool, acrylic, or a wool/acrylic blend is recommended. MC 290 [370, 450, 530]m (317 [405, 492, 580]yds). CC 80 [100, 120, 140]m (87 [109, 131, 153]yds). 3 buttons, 1.5cm (0.5in).
