Quite frankly, these beautiful heather colors were begging to be crocheted into this beautifully soft blanket. It just had to be crocheted stripes. Chocolate brown, olive, gold, russet and blue cover this blanket in beautiful repeating stripes. The colors reminded me of an autumn landscape with the brilliant blue sky over fields of harvested wheat and fertile brown soil, backed with the autumn forest of rust and green. The striped crochet afghan alternates between all five colors and is bordered with the brilliant blue. The stripes run from side to side on this blanket. This blanket pattern is written in U.S. crochet terminology.
