Holiday Tree Skirt - Winter Solstice

This beautiful Winter Solstice Tree Skirt uses the overly mosaic crochet method & features magical elements of nature, pine branches, a crescent moon, snowflakes, with a mighty deer in the center! This pattern will create a round skirt using 8 repeated panels, all done together (no joining later) & includes fully written row-by-row instructions, along with a single page chart for viewing on devices and a 4-page chart to print out.

When using medium weight yarn and a 4 or 5mm hook, this blanket will measure approximately 65-70" in diameter with a 8" hole in the center. It has one open side to be able to wrap around any tree. It will take approximately 1900-2100 yards of the background color & 2200-2500 yards of the design elements color, but can vary depending on your gauge & tension.

You can use any yarn you like, along with the recommended hook size for that yarn. Be sure that all your yarn colors are the same thickness of yarn (yarn weight).
