These mitts are super for using up scraps of light dk weight or heavy sport weight. Use traditional Christmas colors as shown here, or just use your scraps of colors you enjoy to knit up these easy fingerless mitts. They're fun and quick to make. They make excellent gifts for just about everyone. The holly design is added after glove is knitted using duplicate stitch and scraps of yarn in green and red. These are very easy to knit, with the only purls being at the wrist. The gusset for the thumb is made with m1R and m1L. If you prefer, you can use yarn over instead of the m1's. The top and bottom of the gloves are rolled.
