The Hug of the Forest shawl is a big, half circle shawl for the cold winter evenings. Is is knitted top-down, with three sections. Charted instructions are used.
The shawl can be knitted in two sizes, small and large.
Skills used: lace knitting, chart reading, increases, decreases.
Gauge: not necessary. However you have to take into consideration that using thinner or thicker yarn and needle, your shawl will be smaller or larger. Furthermore the choice of the yarn may influence the required yarn quantity.
The original version (blue) was knitted from: 3 balls of Barka Vasárnap, color: Muszlin. A substitute is shown below.
