Choosing Yarn This design is shown using lace weight yarn. The pattern is written for both lace and fingering/sock yarns. However, with a gauge swatch in the pattern and a little math you can easily work this design in any weight yarn. The stitch pattern is multiples of 10. Simply add or subtract stitches by tens to achieve a custom finished size.

Construction Hypnotic is worked in one piece in the round. The stitch pattern is a multiple of 10. You can easily adjust the sizing to meet your specifications by adding or subtracting 10 stitches from the suggested cast on.

Sizing The sizes for Hypnotic are flexible and will greatly on the severity with which you block your finished piece. Since the stitch pattern is a type of lace you’ll find that it is possible to block it out considerably due to the double yarn overs.
