Super-simple instructions, easily to follow.
Original yarn used: SMC Schachenmayr Iguana 1 skein only, shade: ‘Natural’, knitted on 15mm (US19) needles.
You can substitute any super bulky yarn recommended to be knitted on 15mm (US19). Or try thick sari ribbon or cut any other fabric into robust lengths.
This pattern let's your creativity flow - use any yarns held together to make up a firm 1" circumference of yarn {so your collar will stand-up} - play, change yarns when you run out, make yours unique.
