The instructions are written in US crochet terms. The pattern contains a list of materials, tools and accessories needed. Brand and colour numbers of the needed yarn. A clear and colour coded description of how to crochet and assemble the animal. Pictures and illustrations to help getting everything right.
Materials Worsted weight yarn and an E US/3.5 mm crochet hook. You’ll need two colours of yarn, yellow (2/3 of a 100 yard skein) and orange. For the eyes I’ve used 8 mm animal eyes. You will also need fibrefill and pellets for a bit of extra weight in the body (I use Hama beads). For the helmet you need three extra colours, brown, mixed black sheep and light grey. Lopi colour numbers: duck: 1411 (1703) and 1410 (1704), helmet: 0053, 0054 and 0052, scarf: 9421, 9264 and 1407.
