I visit my family, who live in Karachi, each summer. It’s an opportunity to reconnect with family and friends, eat favorite foods and immerse myself in the culture that’s such a large part of who I am. The rich history of my country is reflected in every design I produce. This year, [Destination Yarns][1] created four colorways inspired by different places in Pakistan. I used these colors to design a classic yet modern twist on a “coatigan.” Substantial enough to be a serious statement piece, yet light as a feather for easy seasonal transitions.
