My second babygirl’s birthday is June 2nd. This is the June pattern for the 2013 Twisted Head to Toe Club. I love the name Juno and was thinking about it for this shawlette. When I discovered that Juno Lucina was an aspect of the goddess Juno associated with light and childbirth, the stars aligned, and I realized this was the perfect name for this shawlette.
Construction-wise, this shawlette is fun to make and wear. The rate of increase is a bit different than much of what I’ve done in the past, so it’s got much longer arms. It’s great for wrapping around yourself during the yo-yo weather patterns of Spring.
Yardage Requirements – color A: 400 yards; color B: 75 yards; color C: 300 yards.
Skill level - Advanced beginner (following a lace pattern, I-cord bind off).
Size/Finished measurements – 84” across, 22” deep at center.
