Kahurangi is a national park in the top of the South Island of Aotearoa, NZ. Much of the park is untracked wilderness, but there is also numerous walking tracks including the well known Heaphy track. Within its boundaries it is home to some of the countries rarest birds, there are several species of native birds, alongside several species of native land snail. If you go caving at night you maybe lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the Kahurangi cave spider which can have a leg span of up to 12cm!
