I made this design for you. That is if you or someone you know wants to keep a warm neck and shoulders this autumn/winter.
Keep Me Warm is knitted from side to side. A six-inch wide Smocking stitch pattern spans over the upper part of the shawl, forming a thicker knit fabric to provide for that extra warm and snuggling feel. It is perfect for those cold and windy days. The remaining shawl is worked in an easy and relaxing garter stitch, making this an excellent pattern for most beginners.
Keep Me Warm shawl is knitted in a super fine 100% Alpaca yarn that will keep your work light, soft and a pleasure to knit and wear. With this pattern, you will get easy-to-follow written instructions, a clear layout of the Smocking stitch and a bonus schematic with measurements to follow for blocking your finished shawl.
You will need 5 balls of Drops Alpaca 100 % pure Alpaca or 3 skeins of Mountain Top Alpaca

- You can use Single Point needles or a Circular Needle. I find it easier to use a Circular Needle, to knit in the flat, due to the high number of sts.
