Beautiful decorative tiles are so human. From Mexico to Morocco and everywhere in between, we see these stunning, sometimes vibrant, sometimes subtle and elegant, motif.
This is a pattern for a cowl, worked in the round and using the Fair-Isle knitting technique. Stitches are provisionally cast-on before working the ‘tile’ motif, then a folded hem is created and the inner lining of the cowl worked. The edges are then joined with a 3-needle bind off. You may add, optional, embroidery details over the ‘tile’ motif.
