Unbelievably cute baby orangutan knitted in a single ball of King Cole Tinsel chunky (bulky) yarn. I love the fact that the colour of the yarn is actually called 'Orangutan' - so I just had to knit... an orangutan, particularly as I'm a fellow redhead.
King Cole Tinsel is much easier to work with than it looks and I give some handy hints within the pattern itself.
As well as the main yarn, you'll need some oddments of chunky yarn in light brown and beige for the face and hands & feet.
I've sewn the limbs onto the body in a way that makes them slightly movable - and I include instructions for this in the pattern.
The yarn I've used can shed fibres and I've also included plastic toy eyes (10mm) so please don't give this toy to children under 3 years of age.
