Knitted Lavender Bags

This is a pattern for three knitted lavender bags, part of the Make at Home range of knitting and crochet kits and patterns. The yarn is a wool dk. The first is a moss stitch, the second a check stitch pattern, and the third stocking stitch with simple embroidery on the front. They are made in two pieces. They are filled with a fabric sachet inside containing dried lavender flowers, and secured with ribbon. The finished bags measure 10 cm deep by 9 cm wide, and each is finished with a picot cast on for the top. They are simple to make and can be made by a beginner. They would also make a great gift.
