The cloche style hat is possibly one of the most flattering hats around. It can be worn with the brim in any position you choose, and will frame your face beautifully.
A bit of lace dresses the contrasting color band, and the body of the hat is worked in the main color. You can also choose to make this hat in a single color if you want. The design is quite basic, and versatile, giving you a number of options for your personal needs and taste.
Shown here in two contrasting/coordinating colors, it can also be done in a single color. It works up very quickly and takes less than 1 skein (100gr/200 yards) of a light worsted weight yarn. You will need approximately 110 yards of the main color and 60 yards of the contrast color.
