This baby bonnet has a beautiful lace border which looks so sweet around the face.
The lace trim pattern is a vintage knitting stitch. It is not difficult to work once you get used to the stitch. You need to know knitting techniques such as yfwd and psso.
The pattern gives instructions to knit this bonnet in first size, to fit from birth to approx 3 months.
You can use any double knitting yarn and need one pair of 3.5mm straight needles. Use 4mm needles for a more generous bonnet.
Yarns used for the model was Sirdar Cashmerino Baby Soft.
