Do you know the feeling when there is air and the collar of your jacket is not high enough? Or do you have a cowl that you wrap around your neck several times to make it voluminous? Lahinch combines a cowl with a triangular shawl. The cowl is warming on the neck and does not add extra volume. The triangle covers the neckline.
This bandana cowl is knitted from the bottom up. Starting at the tip, you knit the diamond pattern in rows and later cast on a few stitches to close the triangle into a tube and work in rounds.
Lahinch is a suburb of the famous Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. It is a quiet, idyllic place by the sea. If you drive up the gently rising hill from Lahinch, you reach the Cliffs of Moher.
