Designed for DK Weight yarn, double stranded, knit on 8mm needles.
GAUGE: 11sts-17 rows
CONSTRUCTION: A flat panel is knit. This is then folded & seamed to create armholes.
The garment can be finished: a) as is, without sleeves & without a torso border b) with sleeves, & without a torso border c) with sleeves, & with a torso border.
Sleeve stiches are picked up & knit top down, in the round. Torso border stitches are picked up & knit in the round.
The nature of the construction process means that by following some very simple, included modification instructions, this design can easily be made to fit anyone not falling into the size range above. Full guidance is given re modification, & be encouraged, this is a VERY EASY pattern to modify.
Please note that the estimated yarn quantity showing is for the complete garment, with sleeves, & a twisted rib border on the torso piece.
