I designed the LEAP YEAR WRAP in 2016. Fast forward to 2022, & the nearness of publishing another, totally different design, inspired by this one ... I looked at this pattern & decided a total revamp was in order.... & ... I have now also included a bonus (2022) COWL pattern, also worked flat (4.5mm needle).
The WRAP is designed to be knit in aran/bulky/chunky weight.
The COWL was designed with a Light Worsted Weight yarn & total length used is below with the measurements for both sizes offered..
A provisional cast on is used for the COWL & the ends are grafted together using kitchener stitch. 2 size options are included & the cowl presents sideways when worn.
COWL MEASUREMENTS:
SIZE 1: 27cm H - 58cm Circumference (uses approx 194m/212yds of light worsted yarn)
SIZE 2: 27cm H - 68cm Circumference (uses approx 230m/252yds of light worsted yarn)
