Gauge is not important, if you want the shawl to be lacy, you can try a bigger size needle.
An apology to knitters - not much info for this sample yarn since it is imported from another county, the sample used was a total of 126g / 4.5oz). 100% wool, any lace or fingering weight yarn will work well for this shawl.
Use longer needle for the edge. It is going to be over 1000 stitches. Made sure the wire attaches to the needle secured, so don't cry later:))
