Inspired by vibrant yellow lichen covered trees and rocks, this pair are richly textured with cobnut stitch, a simple and easily memorised stitch pattern.
The generous sized Cowl is knitted in the round and can be worn around the neck, or over the head and shoulders as desired. With just a little ribbing for the edges, you soon get into the business of the cobnut stitch, and with no seam to sew up its a simple and satisfying knit.
The Mitts are knitted flat and shaped by simply decreasing the size of needles used. However if you prefer to knit these in the round there are instructions for how to make this simple switch.
