The Little People Yoked Jumper is the pattern I would have liked to buy when my own children were small and I didn't have time to design one. It's seam free and has a yoke with a lowered front neck. The people design is one that crops up in folk knitting the world over and it's referred to as dancers, farmers, paper dolls etc. I love the way the people hold hands, and you can mix boys and girls together if you wish. The red and green versions are knitted in Schachenmayr Merino Extra fine which gives a lovely stitch definition but any good DK in pure wool would work well. Instructions are given for ages 2 to 8 years. The pattern would suit anyone wishing to create a timeless classic that will be enjoyed by children and much admired.
