Little Rainbow applique/tree decoration

Well! 2020 was quite the year! And as it drew to a close, I thought there

should be no better tribute (and farewell!) than a little applique/Christmas

tree decoration which perfectly summed up the hope that brought us all

through a far from perfect year.

This pattern is suitable for crochet beginners through to advanced;

written in US terminology, it uses only half double crochet stitches and

chain stitches.

This project works up beautifully in soft acrylic double knit yarn. You will

require a small amount Paintbox Simply DK yarn in red, orange, yellow,

green, pink, blue and purple shades-see materials list for details.

This pattern produces a small rainbow approx., 11.5cm by 11.5cm (4.5”

by 4.5”) in size. Recommended hook size is 3.5mm.
