I knitted this for my lovely sister Lorna who will wear it in her French garden, and when she's out in the Lot/Dordogne area of France. A lovely stitch texture that shows off the yarn.
An easy knit for the beginner as all the stitch patterns are formed from knit and purl, and yet interesting enough for the experienced knitter. Knitted on 2 needles and sewn up. Line by line instructions, in English, with British/American terms. Photos and a diagram included to help with sewing up. King Cole Chunky Tweed, Orkney (1076) has been used, but any chunky/bulky yarn should work fine - just check tension/gauge.
Photographed on a UK size 8, US size 4 model, chest 81cm/32in. Fits from approx. 76cm/30in up to 112cm/44in chest, and even more as it's roomy - it just hangs a little differently, but still looks great!.
