This crochet pattern is for a man’s short sleeve or no sleeve v-neck top, with a striking Lips design across a mesh background.
The challenge was keeping the shirt square and the tension even with a solid picture on a mesh. This has been achieved using hdc and sc alternating rows. The picture is made using the counting method, and a full chart is included to help. This is not a “quick” make, but the effort will be well rewarded. I have listed this pattern as "advanced" because of shaping and pattern techniques.
All shaping and pattern counts are fully described. It is assumed the maker is already familiar with colour changes in rows, as these are not described in the pattern.
The pattern comes in five sizes, (Small, Medium, Large, XL and XXL) and the pattern for each size has been adjusted specifically for the fit. You will receive one pdf, with five versions of the pattern.
