Crochet this hat and cowl combo using different colours for each round, use a solid colour, or make it with a self-striping yarn. I’ve used both Rowan fingering weight fine tweed in various colours, and I’ve used the Blue Light Shawl self-striping yarn from Caterpillar Green. Any heavy fingering weight yarn would work well for this pattern.
With a slouchy hat style and a puff stitch cowl, these two pieces are a great combo or work well on their own. They are designed in one size and loosely fit 20” around the head, and about 22” in width around the neck.
