Détails du produit
This stranded reversible cowl is the ninth release in a series of 12 patterns that will form my [Canadian Art Deco Knits e-book][1]. They are being released one a month beginning in January 2015. You can buy the cowl individually or as part of the Canadian Art Deco Knits e-book.
This month's design comes from the marble floor designs in two different buildings: the R.C. Harris Water Treatment Plant in Toronto and Peterson Hall in Montréal.
The cowl is started with a provisional cast on. Once one side is completed, a purl round is worked for the fold, then the second side is knit. All of the stranded knitting is worked with only two colors at a time. If a third color is needed, it is worked afterwards in duplicate stitch. When all the knitting and duplicate stitch is done and the ends are darned in, the last round is grafted to the provisional cast on.
