Size: 6.5 inch/ 16,5 cm sitting when made with Istex Lett Lopi and hook E / 3,5 mm.
The instructions are written in US crochet terms. The pattern contains a list of materials, tools and accessories needed. Brand and colour numbers of the needed yarn. A clear and colour coded description of how to crochet and assemble the animal. Pictures and illustrations to help getting everything right.
Materials: For this crochet giraffe you’ll need worsted weight yarn and an E US/3.5 mm crochet hook. You’ll need three colours of yarn, straw (1/3 of a 100 yard skein), acorn heather brown (1/8) and camel or barley (1/8). For the eyes I’ve used 8 mm animal eyes. You will also need fibrefill and pellets for a bit of extra weight in the body (I use Hama beads). A pipe cleaner for the tail is optional. Lopi colour numbers: 1418, 0053 and 1400 (1419).
