The Memory Bank Shawl is a symmetrical triangle, increasing in size with every one of it’s (only) 41 rows. It’s a very versatile piece to style, and looks great in speckled, tonal and solid colour yarns. It would also be an ideal project for mini skeins or scrap yarn.
It’s economical on yarn, interesting, fun & quick to make.
There are 6 pages to the download and the working of this design is best suited to those with a reasonable amount of experience. I say this mainly because some of the stitches are worked into the front or back loop of the stitch in the previous row, instead of into the complete stitch. These areas, although few, require a little more dexterity and patience.
