This is a lovely and quick pattern. Super warm and comfy, ideal to make for a woodland walk.
I used a soft and cosy yarn from Schachenmayr. I picked this colour as it is a neutral colour that goes with so many things. You can use any super chunky / super bulky yarn you like, you will need 120 m / 130 yds.
It is knitted flat on two needles. It is fairly easy pattern as you only need to know basic stitches, cast/bind on and off, knit and purl and how to do cable. Even if it is your first time at doing cable, it is a great pattern to do without challenging you too much.
This item knits up quickly so you won’t need to wait long before you can enjoy wearing it or being able to give it as a gift. Great to keep you cosy and warm on a winter’s day.
The pattern gives full instructions written in English with both British and American terms.
