Miss Woodhouse

Miss Woodhouse” is a crescent-shaped shawl with a delicate lace border and eyelet pattern body. The border is patterned on both sides and knitted sideways, stitches are later picked up along the edge and body is shaped using short rows. The size can be adjusted easily by knitting more or less lace repeats. The eyelet pattern used for body of shawl can also be substituted with plain stockinette or garter stitch patterns to achieve quite different effects. This shawl can be knitted in a sport or a fingering weigh yarns and beads can also be incorporated to make it more glamorous. The pattern has been created for knitters of intermediate and advanced knitting skills.
