The Mod Hat basically came about because of a lovely ribbed bobble stitch pattern I have always wanted to use somehow, somewhere … and it kind of just evolved from there one day, when the inspiration finally hit me!
Written instructions are given, they are simple and there are no charts to follow.
There are 2 types of bobble stitch, one in the rib and the other in the body of the hat. A lovely slipped, textured stitch is worked in between the bobbled rows.
Suitable from child to adult, and once more, perfect for gift knitting - and stash busting, this hat is designed to be worn slightly slouchy.
