The pattern on the circular yoke and the color make me think of trees and grass in the spring forest, and therefore I think MORIKO (“Child of the Forest” in Japanese) is a perfect name for my new pattern.
It is aseamless top-down sweater with a scalloped neckline and an intricate lace pattern on the yoke while the rest is made in simple stockinette.
The pattern includes two options of yoke depth, two options of lace charts (open and hidden holes in the lace pattern) and two options of sleeve length (3/4 and long sleeves).
The original sample I made is with a deep yoke, open holes structure and 3/4 sleeves. I also made the second sample with 5 cm/2” shorter yoke, hidden holes in the lace pattern and long sleeves
