The Mosaic Dream shawl is a so-called boomerang shawl. The shawl has the shape of a boomerang and is crocheted from left to right. By alternating the moss stitch with mosaic crochet, it creates an alternating pattern to crochet.
The mosaic technique used in this pattern is the inset method. In this method, you crochet 2 rows with the same color.
This challenging pattern requires some crochet experience.
Is mosaic crochet new to you? No problem. This pattern includes a photo tutorial that explains the mosaic technique step by step. For the part that is crocheted with the granite stitch, a crochet chart has been added.
The shawl is approximately 170 cm wide and 60 cm high.
My wrap is crocheted using Hobbii Highland Wool and crochet hooks size 4 and 5.5 mm. But it can be crocheted with any comparable yarn.
