The Murano shawl is inspired by the island of Murano, famous for glass, in the Venetian lagoon. Elegant lace, delicate colours and a few subtle beads makes this the perfect summer shawl. The colours remind me of the faded pastel colours on Murano and the glass beads represent Murano's long history of glass production.

Tension: 18 sts and 26 rows over 10cm/4in in Chart A after blocking. Exact tension is not essential but a difference in tension may affect the final size and amount of yarn used.
