My Shetland Adventure was inspired by a trip to Shetland in September, 2015. Seeing all the hap shawls, the lace, and indulging completely in the Jamieson’s Spindrift and Jamieson & Smith 2-ply sweater yarns, I wanted to use the inspiration from the amazing experience for a shawl. The natural shades of Shetland sheep combined with the double layers of shawl border, all worked at a loose gauge, give this shawl an airiness and warming capability that would work perfectly for the Shetland weather!
