The pattern involves a slipped twist stitch that may be a little different than typical twist stitches. To help you decipher the slipped twist stitch, view our video tutorial on our YouTube channel.
Size options - The sizes are 17”, 18 1/4”. and 19 1/2” circumference x 8 1/2” deep. You can make the hat deeper by adding 1-2 repeats of the first chart. (Yes, there are charts, but the pattern is also fully written out.)
Gauge is done in the round using the slip twist pattern - it’s a good time to practice the technique and get it down pat before moving onto the larger hat.
You will need fingering weight yarn - approximately 250-300 yards MC and 50-100 yards CC
